Magod Waterfalls

Magod Falls is a group of waterfalls in Karnataka, India, where the river Bedti falls from a height of nearly 200m in two steps. The falls are located about 17 km from the town of Yellapur.

Jenukal Gudda / Jenukallu Peak

At a distance of 8 km from Betta Byraveshwara Temple and 40 km from Sakleshpur, Jenukal Gudda or Jenukallu Gudda is a mountain peak in Hassan district of Karnataka. It is the second highest peak in Karnataka and among the best trekking places in Sakleshpur.

Kavadikere Temple

Shirley Falls

Shirley falls is nearly 15KM from Yellapura city center. While travelling towards Ankola one has to take left from main road to visit this falls. Falls is inside forest. One has to travel through Plantation to reach this falls. During monsoon we can enjoy its flow at its high.

Tibetan Colony Near Hubli

We were invited by the team of Re-imagining Doeguling initiative to walk us through their project of preserving the Nalanda traditions and catalyzing development in the area by empowering local Tibentan community. We gladly obliged and took a morning train to Hubli and took a cab from Hubli to Mundgod after noon. We entered the arch in the middle of the forest, and the placed opening into a quiet Tibetan settlement flanked by Monasteries built over vast expanses. Mundgod is a town located in Uttar Karnataka district at 132 km from Karwar and 210 km from Panjim, Goa.
